These terms and conditions govern your use of the FPA Sri Lanka online shop and your purchase of products from it. By placing an order you confirm that you accept these terms, so please read them carefully and keep a copy for your records.
About us
This shop is operated by the Family Planning Association of Sri Lanka (FPA Sri Lanka), a not-for-profit organisation. References to “we”, “us” and “our” mean FPA Sri Lanka.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to place an order through this shop. By ordering, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.
Products and health information
We sell selected sexual and reproductive health products. Product descriptions, images and any guidance provided are for general information only and are not a substitute for professional medical advice. Always read the product packaging and instructions before use, and consult a healthcare professional if you have any questions. Orders and pricing
All prices are shown in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. We make every effort to ensure prices and product information are accurate, but errors may occasionally occur. If we discover an error that affects your order, we will contact you before processing it.
Placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we confirm that your order has been dispatched. We may decline or cancel an order — for example, if a product is unavailable or if we are unable to verify the details provided.
Payment
Payment is taken through secure, industry-standard payment channels. Card details are processed by the payment provider over an encrypted connection and are not stored by us.
Delivery
Delivery timeframes, charges and coverage are set out in our Delivery Policy. Every order is sent in plain, unbranded packaging.
Cancellations, returns and refunds
Your rights to cancel an order, return a product and receive a refund are set out in our Refunds, Returns & Cancellations policy. Because of the nature of the products we sell, some items cannot be returned once opened, for hygiene and safety reasons.
Privacy and confidentiality
We handle your personal information with care and discretion. Please see our Privacy Policy for full details of how we collect, use and protect your data.
Acceptable use
You agree to use this shop only for lawful purposes, and not to misuse it, attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, or place orders fraudulently.
Intellectual property
All content on this site — including text, images, logos and design — is owned by or licensed to FPA Sri Lanka and may not be reproduced without permission.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from your use of this shop or the products purchased through it is limited to the value of the order concerned. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time you place an order is the version that applies to that order.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka, and any disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.
